India’s confirmed cases rise to 3072, India reported 601 fresh coronavirus cases in last 24 hours. This was the highest single-day count since the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Union Health Ministry Joint Secretary, Lav Agarwal said, 42 per cent cases are among people between 21-40 years of age and 32 per cent in the 41-60 year category. 9 per cent cases are in the 0-20 year bracket and 17 per cent are above 60 years. As many 68 people have died of the disease in India till now, according to the ministry.
Globally total number of the novel coronavirus cases has climbed to 11,70,159 in less than 12 hours. Where recovered no of cases 2,37,978 only and a total of 63,832 deaths have been recorded.
